Wanneroo - Heather Aquilina
![]() |
Heather AquilinaRecently, parts of Greens policy have been adopted by mainstream parties so as to appear to be responding to current challenges. Whereas their responses are piecemeal, driven from the outside, Greens policies stem from a consistent world view. |
This view values our social and environmental fabric, and sees economic mechanisms as tools to achieve our vision rather than goals in themselves.
Originally an engineering graduate, with degrees in business and art, Heather Aquilina is currently joint owner of a successful management consultancy. In her job evaluating government programs, Heather tries to consider and balance social and economic costs and benefits.
A founding member of the Greens, Heather’s wide experience, as well as her broad knowledge base give her valuable tools for understanding issues and effectively representing community interests. If elected, Heather will work to ensure decisions are made to support building and maintaining a sustainable future for all to enjoy.
